Objective

Extremely large storage space and plenty of room for cooking was desired! But it shouldn’t have a kitchen look to it.

Challenge

A long room was constructed from an old dining room and a kitchen. The well-being factor was essential.

Implementation

A strongly dominating cooking island with an incredibly beautiful natural stone from Brazil. This is repeated in the cosy corner. The water side with a quooker and easy-care ceramic plate is simple, almost inconspicuous and thus fades into the desired background. The cooking island without the hanging extractor bonnet is very present, but only discreetly associated with a kitchen. The high cupboards conceal the required wall fragments of the broken wall and even offer space for a very stylish wine cooler.
